Please review our guidelines regarding returns, cancellations, and damages for custom carpets.
Important Notice
IND Flying Carpets is a luxury custom handmade carpet manufacturing and export business. Due to the artisanal, customized, and high-value nature of our export shipments, our refund and return terms differ from standard retail e-commerce.
1. Exclusions (Custom & Custom-Made Products)
We specialize in crafting custom-sized, custom-designed, and custom-colored rugs tailored specifically to customer preferences.
- Custom-Made Carpets: Custom-made carpets (bespoke orders) are designed and crafted exclusively to your design briefs. Consequently, they are **strictly non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-cancellable** once the payment is completed and production specifications are confirmed.
- Standard Goods: Standard catalog products delivered as ordered are also non-refundable (e.g. buyer's remorse, changing design preferences after receipt, incorrect sizing chosen by the client, or normal variations in handmade design/color shading).
2. Approved Cases for Refunds & Claims
Refunds, returns, or exchanges only apply for approved cases including:
- Manufacturing Defects: Verified structural or physical manufacturing defects that affect the integrity of the carpet.
- Wrong Product Delivered: Received item differs completely from the SKU, design, or layout ordered.
- Shipping Damage: Damage sustained during international transit. This requires notification within 48 hours of delivery and clear supporting evidence (unboxing video and photos showing the packaging and product damage).
3. Refund Processing Timeline
Once an approved claim is authorized by our management, we will initiate the refund:
- Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed and credited back to the customer's original method of payment via Razorpay within 7–10 business days.
- Credit Posting: Please note that card issuers, banks, and payment providers may take additional time to post the credit to your account statements.
